ABOUT THE JOB:

We are looking for a Shoe Design Intern to assist with design, technical files and product development. You will be part of the design team and support them with mood boards, collection structure, layouts, flat sketch designs, basic specification of products, vendor relations, samples management and will help with incoming tasks. What we need from you is product and fabric knowledge. . The ideal candidate is a creative and collaborative thinker and has a passion for design and women’s fashion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Helping with constant interaction with Merchandisers on all aspects of product line plans, briefs, colour palette, pricing, themes, graphics, and strategies.
• Assist with samples review and follow up, organizing samples space, labelling...
• New Materials Research.
• Sign up for New Products in the system.
• Concept Moodboards & Collection structure.
• Tagging the samples, sending out packages, helping with style outs/photoshoots.
• Assist with sketches with design and create tech packs.
• Sales analysis for a more data-driven design process.
• Perform additional duties and assignments, as requested.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have an Industrial Engineer Degree or Industrial Design. 
• Studies in Fashion Design, Footwear Design or Graphic Design will be a Plus.
• Computer skills to include Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Excel.
• Artistic ability.
• 3D Design will be a plus.
• Self-motivated, ability to multi-task, problem-solving skills, initiative, drive, creativity, and flexibility are essential.
• Knowledge of the brand, as well as other luxury brands and competitors in the contemporary market.
• Attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and proactivity.
